Choosing an elevated deer stand

Getting off the ground widens your view, gets you above brush and standing crops, and lifts your scent and movement above a deer's line of sight. Every Orion stand is built from US steel, powder-coated against rust, and rated for 1,000 lbs.

Pick your height

• 5 ft. Clears brush and tall grass on rolling ground, and it's the easiest to set and move.
• 10 ft. Sees over standing corn and thick cover, with longer shooting lanes.
• 15 ft. Our tallest tower, for big fields and long sight lines.
• 12" ground leveling stand. Levels and lifts a blind on uneven ground. Weighs 60 lbs assembled.

Ladder or stairs?

Ladder models cost less and take up less ground. Stair models have big-grip treads and are easier to climb with gear, in the dark, or with kids and older hunters along. Either way, the rail is designed for three points of contact, and the 40" x 60" steel deck gives you a full landing to step into the blind, not a narrow ladder top.

Built to stand still

Built-in leveling adjusts up to 12" for uneven terrain, and rebar and auger anchors come in the box. Assembly takes two tools, a 9/16" wrench and an impact driver, and the stand ships flat to fit in a pickup bed.

Made to fit your blind

Every Orion blind mounts to every Orion stand on a 48" x 48" platform. Need wheelchair access? Pair the 12" ground stand with our wheelchair-accessible ramp. Have your own lumber? The DIY Stand Platform Kit gives you the steel platform, deck and handrails. All stands are built in Iron Mountain, Michigan, with a 10-year warranty on manufacturing defects.
