Choosing a deer feeder

Most feeders make you pay twice: once when you lift a 50 lb bag over your head to fill them, and again when a bear flattens one and dumps your corn. Orion's stand-and-fill feeders fix both. You fill from the ground with no ladder, and the steel build is backed by a bear and hog guarantee.

Pick your capacity

• 450 lb. Fills at 41", about kitchen-counter height. The lowest lift in the lineup.
• 750 lb. Fills at 49". More feed between trips, still a waist-high lift.
• 1,050 lb. Fills at 58". Our largest, for remote leases and properties you only reach a few times a season.

Need more room later? The Hopper Extension Kit adds capacity in 300 lb increments.

Bear-proof, and we put it in writing

The hopper is 16-gauge powder-coated steel on a low, wide hexagonal base cage, so a bear can't tip it over to get at the feed. Anchor it with the MAX Anchor Kit (four 30" earth anchors rated for 800 lbs of pull-out force per corner) and Orion guarantees the feeder against bear and hog damage for 12 months.

Set it and leave it

A 12V battery charged by a solar panel runs the spinner, so there are no batteries to swap mid-season. The Eliminator spinner plate and base cage keep raccoons and squirrels out of the hopper. Every feeder is built in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
